Art is a way to relax, a reason to indulge, a place to retreat says artist Donna Munro. She states that art has always been a part of her life although she hasn't always had the time or means to indulge herself.. In 2002, Donna moved to Northwest Florida from Vancouver Island, British Columbia. She is a long way from home but maintains contact with family and friends on a daily basis. She travels back and forth several times each year.
"I just couldn't leave my grandkids for too long" she says. Two sons have fathered a son and daughter each, giving her four grandchildren of her own and they play uppermost in her mind. Any reason, such as a birthday or even a knock on the noggin will suffice as an excuse to hop a plane to Vancouver Island for a quick visit.

Artful Things - This is Donna's favorite place to shop. Located in downtown Niceville. Artful things offer most any product that an artist could want or desire. Talented instructors and talented artists frequent the establishment. Donna takes pride in her work and pride in where she shops.
